Unique original designs · ready in minutes · 4.9/5 from parents · satisfaction guarantee.
A design is not just attractive - it is functional
A design on a name label serves a practical purpose. A young child who cannot yet read their name can still recognize their own design: the green dinosaur, the blue rocket, or the yellow flower. This helps the child quickly find their own jacket, lunch box, and water bottle in the cloakroom.
It also helps staff. When several children have the same name, a unique color or design makes it easy to see whose belonging is whose. Fewer mix-ups, fewer lost garments.
How to design your name labels
In our designer, you can choose freely and see the result instantly:
- Design: choose from Lappus's own original designs, from cute animals to bolder shapes.
- Color: background color and text color. Choose good contrast so the name is clearly visible.
- Font: choose a style that is easy to read.
- Text: the child's name, and, if needed, surname or phone number on the second line.
All labels in a set have the same text and design. If you have several children, you can choose a surname or initials so the same set works for the whole family.
Unique original designs - not licensed characters
Lappus's designs are original, created to be fun and easy to recognize. We do not use licensed characters from film and TV. This gives you a design that is personal and unique to your child, and means you do not have to wonder whether the design will disappear next season. For us, it is a deliberate choice: original designs that stand the test of time.
Tips for a design that works
- Choose high contrast between the text and background so the name is easy to read from a distance.
- Give each child their own color or design, making it easy to tell siblings' belongings apart.
- Use the same design on clothes and belongings so everything is recognizable as a set.
- Let your child help choose the design. A child who chose their design will recognize their belongings more easily.
Attractive labels that still last
The design stays put just as well as the text. The labels withstand washing at 60°C, tumble drying, and dishwashing, and the design and name do not fade when the label is applied to the care label and allowed to set for one day.
